The aim of the project is to increase participation of social councils, including councils of seniors, of people with disabilities, youth councils and councils for public benefit in implementation of local policies in the Tychy subregion of the Silesian Province. Within the project we conduct training for all project participants. We initiate the creation of two new councils or social organisations, we develop and implement 8 initiatives increasing the participation of residents. We carry out world cafe sessions in 4 municipalities.

In this project we want to raise awareness about the accessibility of services for people with disabilities in public spaces. We set up a group of Self-advocates of Accessibility, who become ambassadors for people with disabilities, making it easier for those people to integrate into the community. We conduct accessibility audits in enterprises, public institutions and social economy entities from the tourism, catering and leisure services sector.

This project aims at the empowerment of people aged 60+ living in the Podkarpackie Province, as well as equalizing opportunities for them. We provide counseling for older people, carry out sessions with a vocational counselor, and purchase them tickets to a swimming pool, gym, cinema and theater. We conduct trainings in the fields of digital education, first aid, senior care and COVID-19 prevention for volunteers engaged in the project. The elderly receive assistance from lawyers, counselors, an employment agent, and a psychologist.

In our project we invite residents of the city of Nowa Sól as well as representatives of local authorities and the NGOs to participate in trainings and public consultations. The consultations are dedicated to the activities of the Social Activity Centre, cooperation of the city with NGOs, the Social Activity Programme and the rules of NGOs participation in the Nowa Sól Council for Public Benefit Activity. We conduct trainings for volunteers and carry out events: Volunteer Days and the Nowa Sól Forums of NGO.

In this project we deal with cultural, ecological and civic education of the Bronowice district residents in the city of Lublin. We want to develop the interests of the residents, increase their engagement in the life of the local community, as well as build positive habits and develop a sense of empowerment. We carry out thematic activities. We organise outdoor events, publish a local bulletin, and develop music, film and photo materials.

As part of the project, we set up a Tree Friends Academy and conduct four two-day training sessions in different regions of Poland. We transfer knowledge and skills in the areas of implementation of interventions, campaigns, negotiations, watchdog activities and building partnerships. We conduct media events, develop an information toolkit, expand the Friends of Trees map, which inspires, networks and makes it easier for residents to get access to organisations and leaders.
