In this project, we use a standard for a culturally sensitive crisis intervention. It will be tested in at least 3 crisis intervention centres that will increase the availability of their services, and furthermore implement at least one new support service for people with migration experience. We conduct a series of workshops on intercultural competences as well as workshops on culturally sensitive psychological support. We also develop a manual for culturally sensitive crisis intervention.

The project includes a series of educational and cultural activities aimed at integrating foreigners living in Poland, particularly in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Province, into the local community. Our goal is to show that multiculturalism is a value for society and acceptance of diversity should start at the local level. We carry out cultural and educational activities (such as theatre, music, dance, radio, culinary events, etc.) for all interested parties.

The project consists in the preparation and implementation of interactive lessons on civil rights addressed to students of secondary schools. The lessons are implemented in the form of a game set in contemporary Belarus, inspired by a Role Play Game, with audio and video elements. Educators narrate the initial circumstances, and young people participating in the game make decisions about the choices and behaviours of the characters.

The project responds to the diagnosed problem of the lack of a sense of agency and influence among the youth in small towns. Young people will select environmental issues that are important to them, gather the necessary information, meet with experts, and prepare an advertising spot to promote pro-environmental behaviours. Young people will take part in a debate with the municipal local government on common priorities in environmental policy.

The project aims to strengthen civil society, build social sensitivity and awareness among young citizens. We run workshops for a group of 20 young people who want to learn the craft of journalism in order to make the world a better place. The workshops take the form of a series of meetings during which the participants learn about the ‘backstage’ of journalistic work and write their own texts on the subject of human rights.

The project is the first anti-discrimination educational activity addressed to the uniformed services. Its aim is to raise awareness about discrimination in the workplace, identify threats and teach how to respond to it appropriately. As part of the project we develop a guide for uniformed services, conduct a public awareness campaign, produce three movies dedicated to three subjects: discrimination, law, and psychology, and record 3-12 podcasts – interviews with experts.
