The aim of the project is to improve the reporting of domestic violence, mobilise the police to get more engaged, improve the work of local social care centres, reduce the effects of domestic violence and improve the well-being of people affected by violence. Within the project we will provide legal aid to 300 people and psychological aid to 200 victims of family violence in 5 counties of the Lubusz Province. We will train and supervise the staff of local social care centres and interdisciplinary teams.

The aim of the project is to increase the active participation of young people in shaping local climate policies, through appointment of Youth Ambassadors of Climate (Młodzi Ambasadorzy Klimatu – MAK) in Konin and Agder (Norway). The Ambassadors will work on new solutions for the climate in cooperation with city authorities and local communities. We will develop the ‘Local policy of cooperation and engagement of residents in dialogue, discussion, planning and implementation of climate actions in the city’, and carry out two social campaigns.

As part of the project, we will provide free legal advice to women experiencing sexual abuse or gender discrimination. We will conduct research to estimate the scale of the problem. We will organize workshops for members of the legal profession, and webinars addressed to a wide audience. We will prepare and make available the workshop scenarios. We will create a database of legal information concerning sexual abuse, and conduct a social campaign.

As part of the project, we will found the first emergency intervention apartment in the City of Gdansk for young LGBT+ people affected by the crisis of homelessness or at risk of such crisis. The project has two aims. Firstly, we will provide immediate help to the LGBT+ people who are in a difficult life situation by assuring a home for them and meeting their basic needs. Secondly, we will offer them psychological and social assistance that will help them stabilise their situation, including finding a job, renting a flat or obtaining the right to social housing.

As part of the project we want to increase access to information about the municipality and county councilors, and to improve knowledge of the principles of local government, the third sector, and watchdog activities among the Youth Municipal Council’ members. We will run two local portals, carry out a series of trainings, a study visit, and an information campaign aimed at encouraging the replacement of heating devices and making the residents aware of health effects of breathing in polluted air.

In our project we want to reduce the exclusion of people 60+ living in Lublin, including those at risk of family violence. We will conduct workshops for older people and for seniors who are local leaders. We will implement a personalized path of assistance for seniors provided by leaders, and carry out activities aimed at integrating elderly people in the local community. We will provide psychological counseling for seniors.
