In this project, we want to increase the availability of crisis intervention services for people with migration experience in small and medium-sized localities. We use a standard for a culturally sensitive crisis intervention developed by counselling centres, public institutions and NGOs. Within the project, at least 3 crisis intervention centres will test the above-mentioned standard and thus increase the availability of their services, and furthermore implement at least one new support service for people with migration experience. We conduct a series of workshops on intercultural competences for 30 empoyees of the centres participating in the project as well as workshops on culturally sensitive psychological support for 10 professionals providing psychological support in these centres. Then we will perform an expert audit of the availability of services, and elaborate the recommendations and conclusions of the audit. Based on the results of the audit, a new service for the support of migrants will be designed and implemented together with the experts. We also develop a manual for culturally sensitive crisis intervention. At the end of the project a final conference dedicated to the availability of crisis intervention services for people with migration experience will be held in order to disseminate the project results.
