In May, we are closing the last two calls for proposals under the Active Citizens Fund – Regional Programme: the call for microgrants for emerging organisations (8 May) and the call for intervention projects (22 May). Check out the materials you might use when preparing to submit your application!

The call for microgrants

The call for microgrants to advance emerging organisations was launched on 1 March, 2023. The deadline for submitting proposals is 8 May, 2023, 12.00 (noon) CET.

For whom?

This is a call for organisations registered no earlier than on 28 February 2020 and no later than 28 February 2023 (the day before the call was announced), that have not previously received any grant in calls organised under the Active Citizens Fund – Regional or the Active Citizens Fund – National Programmes.

Remember! Organisations applying for microgrants can apply in both Programmes, and they can also apply in the the call for intervention projects until 22 May.

The call for intervention projects

The second round of the call for quick response (intervention) projects within the Active Citizens – Regional Fund Program was launched on 22 November (noon) CET. The deadline for submitting proposals is May 22, 2023 (noon) CET.

Remember! Organisations that have already applied for an intervention grant but (after content-related evaluation) did not receive one, can submit a new application in the call.

For whom?

The call is aimed at organisations that see a crisis situation in their community (i.e. a sudden change in the social situation or or growing problems affecting a specific target group) and have an idea for action to respond to this challenge. The planned intervention should respond to specific, urgent problems and provide solutions which are implementable and can bring results within three to eight months.
