The project responds to the needs and problems reported by girls living in the Podkarpackie Province. It aims at preventing discrimination and violence against girls and strengthening their empowerment. We conduct educational and empowering workshops for girls and run an educational camp. We prepare the participants to carry out their own educational initiatives, thanks to which the residents will learn what discrimination is, how to counteract it and how to deal with it.

The aim of the project is to conduct a participatory process of revitalization of industrial areas in the city of Chełmno. Together with partners and residents we design a new green area (the Neighborhood Backyard) and develop a concept for a neighborhood house (the Neighborhood Foundry). We identify needs and expectations of the residents, and analyse the pros and cons of the new area. We conduct workshops for residents, and teach them how to act for the development of their neighborhood.

The project supports the inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities and their families in the city of Opole and helps prevent domestic violence. Within the project we conduct workshops and carry out advocacy and communication activities. The results of the project will include: an improvement in the quality of life of people with intellectual disabilities, an increase in the presence of issues concerning such people in the public space as well as creation and presentation of tools supporting the inclusion of people with disabilities in local communities.

As part of the project, we would like to check whether local governments in the Lower Silesia region are meeting the obligations imposed by European and national environmental strategies, as well as the European Green Deal adopted by the European Union. We undertake interventions in local government offices at all three levels. The work will result in a report with recommendations concerning, among others, the independence of transport in the region from oil.

The project combines the potential and commitment of young people (environmental activists) with the growing readiness of local governments to discuss climate change in order to develop local environmental strategies in a participatory way. Working groups are appointed consisting of young activists as well as representatives of local authorities and NGOs. The groups develop catalogues of recommendations being starting points for local strategies.

In our project, we want to increase the inhabitants’ social participation in Stare Jabłonki – a village in the Ostróda Municipality, in the area of management of public space by introducing grassroot management of the village common room. We implement a Common Room Participatory Budgeting and launch a new space that will be designed and arranged by inhabitants. We appoint a Social Life Animator and a Coach who will engage residents in social activities and consultations. The project is carried out for 12 months in cooperation with the partner – local government of the Ostróda Municipality.
