In this project we support young people (aged 15-29) from the West Pomeranian Province who are leaving or preparing to leave penitentiary institutions, Youth Centres of Sociotherapy, Youth Educational Centres or foster care. Within the project we provide these people with group and individual support to facilitate their successful social readaptation. We accompany them in discovering their potential and striving for change.

The main goal of the project is to increase the activity of young people from Suchy Las in public participation and creation of local policies. The project consists of two components. The first one includes the implementation of a participatory budget in 5 schools in the municipality. The second one is a series of workshops and training sessions to support and improve the competencies of junior councillors and future candidates for the Suchy Las Municipal Youth Council.

The aim of the project is to counter the use of elderspeak, i.e. specific and discriminatory language used when talking to older people. Through social communication and human rights workshops as well as a public awareness campaign, we reduce the causes and scale of the problem. We raise awareness of its negative effects on the social functioning of people aged 60+, improve the communication competences of people aged 60+ and teach them how to respond assertively to elderspeak.

‘The City in motion’ is a watchdog project aimed at investigating the way in which the principles and postulates of the Transport Policy of the City of Łódź are implemented by persons and institutions managing transport in the city. As part of the project, we are monitoring the law on the functioning of public transport in the City of Łódź. We are preparing a monitoring report with conclusions and recommendations. We educate the city officials on the principles of good governance and transparency.

The project responds to the need for integration activities in Poland resulting from the increased number of refugees in our country. As part of the project, we employ an intercultural assistant, conduct Polish as a second language classes and intercultural activities in the model of an outdoor education. We run workshops for teaching staff working in an intercultural environment and a series of meetings with women from Active Women's Clubs in the Lublin area.

Our project’s goal is to integrate Cieszyn residents with migrant people, but also to substantively strengthen the local activists. As part of the project, we have launched the Centre for Integration and Support for Immigrants. We host cultural events there, carry out integration and creativity workshops for children, theatre workshops for children and adults, as well as provide psychological and organisational support, and teach migrants Polish as a foreign language.
