On March 28, 2024, we held a webinar where we discussed issues related to diagnosing needs and identifying the hidden potential of young people. The recording is now available to watch.
During the webinar we talked about:
- methods for identifying young people’s potential,
- ways of gathering information to better understand young people’s expectations, challenges and aspirations,
- how to tailor support to the individual needs of young people.
The speakers:
- Emilia Kaczmarek – student of public life at SWPS University. Since 2017 she has been creating and supporting social projects. Founder of the Akcja Menstruacja foundation, winner of Forbes magazine’s 25under25 competition in the category ‘Supporting diversity’. For the past year she has been working at the New Community Foundation as a communications specialist.
- Michał Romanowski – graduate of the University of Warsaw, teacher, drama trainer, trainer in social skills, group work and participatory in activities aimed at increasing the participation of young people in social life. Member of the EDUtwórnia educational incubator team designing educational strategies for the needs of schools implementing grassroots changes in their work. In cooperation with various NGOs, he supports the planning and implementation of youth (and not only) identity and civic initiatives. In his work with young people, he values most the idea of learning by doing.
The webinar was hosted by Agnieszka Koszowska – member of the communication team of the Active Citizens Fund – Regional Programme, working for the Information Society Development Foundation.
