Updated results of the Call 2 (as of 19 November, 2023)

The Programme Executive Committee decided to fund one application from the waiting list submitted in the 2nd thematic call and to award one large grant under Area 1. We present the updated results of the call.

As a result of the funds released in Area 1, the Programme Executive Committee decided to fund one application from the waiting list:

  • application no. K2d/0431 submitted by Fundacja Miejsce Ludzi (a large grant without funds for capacity building in Area 1).

311 applications for large grants and 302 applications for small grants met eligibility criteria and were sent for content-related evaluation. Taking the last Executive Committee’s decision into consideration, we have awarded grants for the implementation of 109 projects: 75 large and 34 small ones. However, in case of five applications, the grant agreements have not been signed. Therefore, there are currently 104 projects on the list of applications after content-related evaluation: 73 large ones and 31 small ones. 5 large grants and 1 small one are on the waiting list.

The total amount of funding awarded for project activities is 6 712 278.59 EUR. This includes 1 876 299.08 EUR awarded for projects under Area 1: Human rights protection, 1 946 030,60 EUR for projects under Area 2: Promoting social diversity and preventing exclusion and 2 889 948.91 EUR for projects under Area 3: Building democratic culture and civic engagement at local level.

Additionally, 1 054 584.01 EUR was awarded for the implementation of capacity-building plans (Area 4: Supporting the development of civic sector), and a further 183 392.14 EUR was set aside for the Project Promoters whose capacity building plans require modifications. The decision to award the grants is based on expert evaluations (score) as well as the amounts allocated for grants under thematic and geographical areas (to provide balanced support for the implementation of projects in different regions of Poland). The scores and evaluation sheets can be found in the Electronic Grant Application and Management System (EGAMS).

Projects from the waiting list will be able to receive funding if any Applicants whose projects were approved for funding fail to sign the grant agreement or the funds in the programme are “released”. The order of awarding grants to projects from the waiting list will be determined within the areas of support. First of all, the amount of released funds from the allocation for the given area of support will be taken into account (which determines whether it will be possible to finance the whole project), then the score awarded, and finally the possibly proportional representation of different regions.
