How to support young people who want to be active?

On March 20, 2024, we held a webinar on supporting young people to pursue their passions, co-create community projects and take care of their personal development. The recording is now available to watch.

During the webinar we talked about:

  • creating an environment conducive to youth development and activity,
  • actively involving young people in the programme development process,
  • diverse tools and working methods that can be effectively used in programmes supporting young people.

The speakers:

Olga Napiontek – the Vice President of the Board of the Civis Polonus Foundation. She deals with civic education in various ways: she is the author of research and articles in the field of civic education and civic dialogue, a trainer who designs and conducts workshops for teachers, librarians, civil servants and young people, creator and manager of projects enabling meaningful civic participation for children, young people and adults. She holds a PhD in sociology and did her doctoral studies at the School of Social Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the Institute of Social Studies.

Kacper Nowicki – the founder and Chairman of the Board of the Varia Posnania Foundation, former Chairman of the Youth Council of the City of Poznań, host of Glantz – the Podcast about Poznań. He works to build the rule of law and equality in schools and communities.

The webinar was hosted by Agnieszka Koszowska – member of the communication team of the Active Citizens Fund – Regional Programme, working for the Information Society Development Foundation.
