On 26 September 2024, the closing conference of the Active Citizens Fund – Regional Programme took place at the POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews in Warsaw. Below you can find a brief overview of the event, presentations and photos.

The participants of the closing conference who posted an account of the conference consisting of a photo and a short factual reflection could take part in a Facebook competition. The competition was organised in cooperation with ngo.pl – the media patron of the event. We are announcing its results.

An agreement has been signed on the new funding period of the EEA and Norway Funds. In the 2021-2028 funding perspective, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway will provide EUR 3.2 billion to the 15 EU Member States to enhance cohesion in Europe.

In June, we invited interested organisations, institutions and informal groups to join us in the ‘Open, democratic, green’ campaign. Participants of the campaign were encouraged to carry out actions in their communities for a more open, democratic and green Poland (and Europe!) and send us reports on these events. Fifty-two institutions and organisations took part in the campaign. We have awarded 7 reports - the winners are listed below.

Recruitment for the regional initiative on DEI in the non-governmental sector is open until 19 August. This international event accompanies the conference summarising the Active Citizens Fund – Regional Programme and will take place in Warsaw on 25-26 September 2024.

Join us in a nationwide campaign launched by the Active Citizens Fund – Regional Programme! The first registered 50 organisations or partnerships will take part in a competition. The best reports of activities carried out in the campaign will be rewarded a study visit to Norway.

We have awarded funding to 12 initiatives under the 2nd call for bilateral and regional initiatives. Here are the results of the evaluation of applications submitted by 30 April 2024 within the Active Citizens Fund – Regional Programme.
