On May 9, 2024, we held a webinar where we talked about different aspects of working in a multicultural team and how to support the team to work effectively. The recording is now available to watch.
During the webinar we discussed the following topics:
- areas of cultural differences,
- potential challenges in working in a multicultural team,
- ways to support a multicultural team to work effectively.
The speaker: Katarzyna Szajda – an intercultural communication trainer who supports the learning and development process of individuals, teams, organisations and communities. Founder and long-time coordinator of the UNESCO Initiatives Centre. She has over 20 years of experience in the implementation of international educational projects and has worked with organisations from Europe, the Middle East, the Caucasus and Central Africa. For over a dozen years, she has been cooperating with FRSE, she has been conducting trainings for volunteers from abroad as part of the European Solidarity Corps Programme (formerly EVS). She lived and worked in the Czech Republic for 8 years. All her professional life she has worked in multicultural teams.
The webinar was hosted by Agnieszka Koszowska – member of the communication team of the Active Citizens Fund – Regional Programme, working for the Information Society Development Foundation.
