On women’s rights in Liechtenstein – take part in a study visit!

We are inviting you to register for a study visit to Liechtenstein organised jointly by the two Active Citizens Fund programmes: the National and the Regional.

The study visit is aimed at persons representing non-governmental organisations dealing with the issue of women’s rights in politics (both local and national), in the broader public sphere and collective memory of the community, in the labour market, in the area of reproductive rights and an ability to decide on their own bodies.

The visit will take place on 28.06-1.07.2023 and will consist of a series of meetings with people representing community organisations and public institutions from Liechtenstein, including:

The study visit is jointly organised by the Active Citizens Fund – National and Regional programmes in cooperation with the Representation of the Principality of Liechtenstein to the European Union. The organisers cover all costs of the visit, including travel, accommodation, simultaneous translation from German, meals and travel insurance.

In order to take part in the visit, you must complete, no later than 29 March 2023, the registration form available HERE. We will inform you of the results of the recruitment no later than 11 April.

The Programme’s closing conference of the Active Citizens Fund – Regional Programme was held in Warsaw

On 26 September 2024, the closing conference of the Active Citizens Fund – Regional Programme took place at the POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews in Warsaw. Below you can find a brief overview of the event, presentations and photos.

Results of the Facebook competition for those attending the closing conference

The participants of the closing conference who posted an account of the conference consisting of a photo and a short factual reflection could take part in a Facebook competition. The competition was organised in cooperation with ngo.pl – the media patron of the event. We are announcing its results.

Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway, and the European Union have now signed an agreement on a new funding period for the EEA and Norway Grants

An agreement has been signed on the new funding period of the EEA and Norway Funds. In the 2021-2028 funding perspective, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway will provide EUR 3.2 billion to the 15 EU Member States to enhance cohesion in Europe.

Results of the competition in the ‘Open, democratic, green’ campaign

In June, we invited interested organisations, institutions and informal groups to join us in the ‘Open, democratic, green’ campaign. Participants of the campaign were encouraged to carry out actions in their communities for a more open, democratic and green Poland (and Europe!) and send us reports on these events. Fifty-two institutions and organisations took part in the campaign. We have awarded 7 reports - the winners are listed below.

Open registration for the Programme’s closing conference started today

Join us for the closing conference of the Active Citizens - Regional Fund Programme. Open registration for all interested parties will last from today (5 September) until 11 September 2024. The event will take place on 26 September 2024 at the POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews in Warsaw.

Recruitment for the regional initiative on DEI in the non-governmental sector is open until 19 August. This international event accompanies the conference summarising the Active Citizens Fund – Regional Programme and will take place in Warsaw on 25-26 September 2024.

Join the ‘Open, democratic, green’ campaign

Join us in a nationwide campaign launched by the Active Citizens Fund – Regional Programme! The first registered 50 organisations or partnerships will take part in a competition. The best reports of activities carried out in the campaign will be rewarded a study visit to Norway.
