In the 2nd thematic call for proposals within the Active Citizens Fund – Regional we have awarded 102 grants: 72 large and 30 small ones. Find out the details about the results of the call!
We have finalized the evaluation of project proposals within the second thematic call for proposals. 311 applications for large grants and 302 applications for small grants met eligibility criteria and were sent for content-related evaluation. According to the decision of the Executive Committee, based on the recommendation of the Expert Committee, we have awarded grants for the implementation of 102 projects: 72 large and 30 small ones. 8 large grants and 5 small ones are on the waiting list.
The total amount of funding awarded for project activities is 6 623 535.40 EUR. This includes 1 807 398.70 EUR awarded for projects under Area 1: Human rights protection, 1 950 859.17 EUR for projects under Area 2: Promoting social diversity and preventing exclusion and 2 865 277.53 EUR for projects under Area 3: Building democratic culture and civic engagement at local level. Additionally, 1 056 486.37 EUR was awarded for the implementation of capacity-building plans (Area 4: Supporting the development of civic sector), and a further 167 368.33 EUR was set aside for the Project Promoters whose capacity building plans require modifications.
The decision to award the grants is based on expert evaluations (score) as well as the amounts allocated for grants under thematic and geographical areas (to provide balanced support for the implementation of projects in different regions of Poland). The scores and evaluation sheets can be found in the Electronic Grant Application and Management System (EGAMS).
Congratulations to the organisations whose applications were approved for funding! After 25 July, you will receive by e-mail (to the e-mail address indicated in the EGAMS) all the information about further steps required to sign the grant contract.
Projects from the waiting list will be able to receive funding if any Applicants whose projects were approved for funding fail to sign the grant contract. The order of awarding grants to projects from the waiting list will be determined within the areas of support. First of all, the amount of “released” funds from the allocation for the given area of support will be taken into account (which determines whether it will be possible to finance the whole project), then the score awarded, and finally the possibly proportional representation of different regions. In the case of Area 1, the order of applications on the waiting list indicated by the Expert Committee and by the Executive Committee will also be taken into account.
In case of questions related to the content-related evaluation of an application that was not approved for granting, please contact us by e-mail at: wyniki.aofr@fed.org.pl.
