We are announcing the results of the call for applications for the study visit to the Utøya Learning Center in Norway. Out of 70 applications, we have selected 12 organisations whose representatives will attend a workshop on the Norwegian island in June this year.
The recruitment process was not easy: we have received as many as 70 applications submitted by two-person teams! Out of these, we have selected 11 pairs who will take part in the trip and will not only learn about the activities of local educators and the experience of rebuilding the island’s identity after the tragic events of 2011, but also work on their ideas and the challenges they face in the area of dialogue, counter-radicalisation and commemoration.
The organisations whose representatives will participate in the study visit are the following:

- Fundacja Autonomia,
- Fundacja Bezkres,
- Fundacja Owoc Spotkania,
- Fundacja “Borussia”,
- Fundacja Formy Wspólne,
- Fundacja Sztetl Mszana Dolna,
- Stowarzyszenie Laboratorium Działań dla Pokoju – Salam Lab,
- Stowarzyszenie Polska Platforma Bezpieczeństwa Wewnętrznego,
- Stowarzyszenie Pracownia Etnograficzna im. Witolda Dynowskiego,
- Podkarpackie Stowarzyszenie dla Aktywnych Rodzin.
All organisations on the above list will be contacted in the coming days to agree on the logistical details of the visit.
We are organising the visit as an Active Citizens Fund – Regional Programme in cooperation with the Active Citizens Fund – National Programme.
